Cycling Around Oregon
It started with the idea of cycling Crater Lake’s rim. Friends and relatives started promoting Cycle Oregon as one way to pull this off … and more. Looking into it, this sounds very much like something I’d enjoy doing.

Yellowhead Highway to Alaska
The map above shows the first leg. From Prince Rupert I’d head north by ferry to Alaska then run around the State focusing on major cities and National Parks. Then I’d return by land to the province of Alberta and make my way to Vancouver by way of Jasper.
Sounds great but it’s got to be in the summer months.
The roads aren’t passable in other seasons!
