As a foreigner, Twila doesn’t have a job but she does have a preoccupation. She’s a volunteer at the local estate of an Earl called Harewood House. The mansion sits on extensive property which is open to the public and obviously enjoyed by hundreds of local folk. The house is grand and in excellent shape and is toured by many visitors each day. However, NOBODY could have received a better tour than I did from Twila. She has obviously learned a lot about the house, its owners, British aristocracy, and she’s passionate about it all. I really appreciate receiving an education from a person with obvious interest and expertise and that’s what I got … from my own little sister!
