Today was a remarkable kickoff to what is expected to be a fantastic event. During the year celebrating Balboa Park’s Centennial, ten museums are collaborating with the maker community to deliver a two day Maker Faire on October 3 & 4. This was announced by Mayor Faulconer who also endorsed our event as the San Diego Featured Event for the Fall of 2015 and conveyed to us the rights to use the heart of the Park.
Part of what made the announcement so much fun was all that we had on display. Thanks primarily to Peter Commisky who “caught the fever” at Bay Area Maker Faire this year, we had some exceptional makers on hand. Lindsay with his
