The “Hardware Innovation Workshop” is a finalist in two categories of the FAME Awards in the “best first-time event” & “best overall single event (business-to-business)” categories. This is a total surprise and a total delight for me as I’m quite proud of the work we did last year and am pleased to see it be recognized.
Last year I worked with MAKE Magazine to produce and deliver this conference which featured a theme which hasn’t been possible at the enthusiast level for a long time: hardware product innovation. Over the course of two days we explained the changes and forces which were empowering this surge of creative production. We also brought together and featured the work of many creators of innovative products. For those wanting to understand the Maker Movement and its prospects for business, this was the place to be.
It was the perfect lead up to Maker Faire!
